Here comes your big day, and you have a photographer, florists, venue all set up, invitations, dress, and now you need to figure out what to do with your hair???? Well choosing the hairstyle can be as simple as to choose whatever you are flowing with or as complicated as to try to match the best style for the dress, getting hair extensions, getting hair pieces and making sure you get the right hair stylist for it (this is when we come into place :P to help you with it). As a hair stylist my first thing to recommend you is to look for a style that is doable for your type of hair, this will be the easiest. But if you are really wanting something that your hair might not accomplish on its own, then I absolutely recommend doing a hair trial so that we can go over options. Always choose the hair piece route, as you can see in the pictures below, it really makes all the difference.

This is one of my ultimate favorite locations for a photoshoot in Utah. As a makeup artist in Utah, I get to see my brides take pictures in the most iconic locations of the state. From the State Capitol, to Zions, the Salt Lake Boneville Fltas, Arches, Moab, and on and on. This white scenario is so unique on its kind. Giving it a touch of sophistication while being uniquely sought after like in the case of this beautiful couple. This beautiful Norwegian native couple, flew in just to have these majestic pictures taken. I was able to do the hair and makeup for her in a minimalistic look with a touch of classical timeless bridal beauty

As winter photoshoots are winning down for all makeup artists here in Utah, the last couple of images are circling back to me from my beautiful brides. Here is beautiful Tristi, whose bridal makeup was a monochromatic, brown on brown. I love these images so much, the photographer captured the essence of their love and even tho she told me it was freezing :P you wouldn’t be able to tell for how comfy they look together.
