Last week I got to do a week-long photoshoot in St Simons Island, Georgia. It was beautiful! I was doing hair & makeup for a clothing catalog. That area of the country is breathtaking! I had never been there before and I am so glad I got to visit. Here are some pictures of the photoshoot locations and of the places where I got to do hair & makeup. Lets just say that I wouldn’t be mad if I had to do hair & makeup by the ocean everyday.

This was a beautiful session of hair and makeup here in Utah. Julie came from Georgia to get married here in the Salt Flats, just outside of Salt Lake City. For the makeup she wanted to use browns and peaches for the lips. For the hair she had the inspiration of Kim Kardashians updo for the Dolce Gabbana fashion show. It all came out beautiful and she looked and felt stunning.

As a makeup artist in Utah I get to work with some amazing companies doing hair and makeup for beautiful models and meeting some talented crew members. In this case it was working with Donna Salyers Fabulous Furs a company based out of Covington, Kentucky. Fabulous-Furs has appeared in countless magazines and in print throughout the world, as well as in movies, on Broadway and TV. This was a really fun opportunity and I truly enjoyed getting to know Carlie and Sarrah while getting them ready for a week.
